Windows abound with fabulous views ~ the front porch is fully screened and all windows open to give you terrific breezes on a warm summer's day. There is surprising privacy in the cottage. The owners have brilliantly placed new windows where neighboring views are not in play.
Entering the cottage, you are welcomed by a large glass porch with fantastic views of mooring field, docks Ruggles Park., the Bay and islands. The porch has comfortable rockers to relax,enjoy and soak in the sights of the activity in Bayside.
Multiple windows flood the living area with sunlight and breezes off the water. All the walls are freshly painted as are the floors. The living room is open to the dining area that has a pedestal dining table that seats four but is expandable for up to six.
The new updated kitchen has granite counters, big 4 burner countertop gas stove with electric oven. All the cabinets are freshly painted and new dishwasher and side by side refrigerator complete the major appliances. There is also a microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. A great cook-in kitchen.Off the kitchen is a brand new 3/4 bath with a generous size shower, tile floors and wainscoting walls.
Up to the second floor, a hallway opens up to the large master bedroom with queen bed, lots of windows giving you a bird’s eye view of the ocean. Bayside is famous for it’s lack of closet space but this room has a walk in closet ! As you can see the room is freshly painted and will be bright even on a rainy day.
The second bedroom ,across the hall, is a complete new addition with high vaulted ceilings with fan, numerous windows with a glimpse of the ocean, two new twin beds and another large closet. This room is quite large and has ample space as a playroom as well. There is an abundant amount of natural light and brightly painted walls.
Down the hall is a new full size bath with tile flooring, more wainscoting, opening skylight window and a full tub/shower.
Washer and dryer is in the walk out unfinished basement. The cottage also has a flat screen TV(typical Bayside 1 0r 2 channels), DVD player, and WiFi.
