This classic oceanside cottage located  on Shore Road in Bayside is a very short walk to Ruggles Park and the dock via the road or the beach. Just about a half mile of beach combing will get you there.   A lush, fern-lined boardwalk leads to this charming, 2-bedroom oceanfront cottage with commanding views of Penobscot Bay and Islesboro and a private stairway that leads to your own pebble beach. This sweet cottage was built circa 1910 but underwent an architect-designed renovation in the mid 1990s. Amenities include an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area with an abundance of windows that showcase the amazing views, a spacious bedroom suite with a cathedral ceiling, a full bath, a walk-in closet and an ocean-facing balcony.

As you enter the cottage, you are welcomed by an open living, dining and kitchen area. There is a small but serviceable kitchen to make a lovely summer meal.  A very comfortable living room and dining room are situate to enjoy the ocean view.

There is a first floor bedroom with a queen bed (new spring 2023) located off the living room.  This bedroom also has a half bathroom.  2.5 bathrooms in Bayside!!!!

Going upstairs brings you to the “Maine” bedroom. One large bedroom with great closet space and it’s own full bathroom. A Romeo and Juliet balcony for the lucky two who get to enjoy this room. A vacation full of sunrises and sunsets!  A new king sized mattress will be added in spring of 2023.

An expansive wraparound porch offers a ringside seat for watching sailboat races, seabirds, seals and sunrises. Convenient to Belfast, Lincolnville Beach and Camden, this cozy coastal retreat could be your seaside haven.
