Modern updates and remodeled bathrooms, matched with classic Bayside charm, and a pool table to add to the fun.  Don’t plan many day trips, you likely won’t want to leave this lovely house. You will be very comfortable in this spacious and highly desirable cottage within easy walking access to Ruggles Park, golf course, and all that Bayside has to offer. A superb living space for a large family or two smaller families that want to vacation together. 

Features & Floor plan

This home retains much of the charm and history of the typical Bayside cottage. As you enter the cottage from the porch you will look down Maple Street to see the Penobscot Bay. There is plenty of comfortable porch furniture for that morning cup of coffee, a simple late summer lunch, and a heated game of cards.  The bright and airy living room is stocked with games and cozy furniture to finish that summer novel you can’t put down.  The dining area has a large table that can accommodate everyone and it opens to the porch as well. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need for your time in Bayside. A bathroom with a large tub and washer/dryer are also located on the main floor.  All the rooms have ceiling fans to keep that summer breeze flowing.

The 1st floor has its own tiled entrance which will be appreciated on your way up from an afternoon at the beach. There is a great table for everyone to gather around and complete that 1000 piece puzzle. There is a minifridge and a sink for easy entertaining while a pool tournament is played out. Two king bedrooms with ceiling fans are located on this level as well as an updated bathroom with a large shower stall.

The third floor has 3 bedrooms and a roomy bathroom by  Bayside standards.  Two of the bedrooms have matching twin beds (one has an additional trundle bed). The third bedroom has a single twin bed.  All three bedrooms have ceiling fans and cute coastal furnishings.

Shearwater is located right in the heart of Bayside. You’ll enjoy friendly faces as they stroll by your porch. You can head out for summer stroll along the coastline or zigzag through the side streets to appreciate all of sweet architecture.  Here you’ll really want to sit back and relax into your Bayside vacation.
